Slow Cooker Recipe: Hot Wing Dip

April 9, 2020

By: Shelly Marie Redmond, Culinary Dietitian, Founder of Skinny Louisiana

Looking for a super simple recipe for the slow cooker? With only four ingredients we consider this an easy family-pleasing recipe that is delicious and won’t break the bank.

We love using the slow cooker (or Crock-Pot® as some call it) in our kitchen. Not only is the slow cooker easy to use, it is safe (no open flame), and energy-efficient. Slow cookers consume as little as 150 watts per hour at a low setting and cut electricity cost for cooking by half. (and yes, I love to save money). Slow cookers range in tons of shapes and sizes, but my personal slow cooker is a six-quart Crock-Pot®.

NOTE: Because of current shopping conditions due to the Coronavirus, this is a great recipe for ‘shopping in your pantry’ to use the ingredients you have already purchased. For tips on Grocery Shopping During the Coronavirus, be sure to watch the video below.
