Louisiana Integrated Resource Plan Stakeholder Engagement
SWEPCO will file its initial Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) with the Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC) in May 2015. The IRP process includes stakeholder engagement.

Turk Plant
SWEPCO is building an advanced ultra-supercritical technology power plant in Hempstead County, Arkansas.

Stall Unit
SWEPCO has begun commercial operation of the new 508-megawatt J. Lamar Stall Unit at Arsenal Hill in Shreveport. The company's first combined-cycle natural gas unit was declared in commercial operation June 16, 2010.

Renewable energy for SWEPCO
SWEPCO has long-term power purchase agreements for 469 megawatts of wind energy from wind farms in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, including 359 megawatts announced in January 2012.

Flint Creek Power Plant
The Arkansas Public Service Commission has determined that the installation of additional environmental controls at the 528-megawatt, coal-fueled Flint Creek Power Plant in Gentry, Ark., is in the public interest.
