Dianna Tomlinson

Director, Safety, Health, Environmental & Compliance

Dianna Tomlinson serves as Director of Safety, Health, Environmental and Compliance for SWEPCO, where she leads the company's efforts to protect employees, customers and communities while ensuring regulatory and operational excellence. 

Dianna brings over 15 years of experience across American Electric Power, having held leadership and technical roles in Safety & Health, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene and field operations support. Her career includes positions within SWEPCO Operations, AEP Utilities Safety & Health and SPP Generation Safety & Health, where she developed deep expertise in workplace safety, risk management, compliance and employee well-being. 

In her current role, Dianna oversees SWEPCO's Safety & Health, Environmental, and NERC Compliance programs. She provides strategic leadership for safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance, audits, governance and reporting, helping ensure the company meets federal, state and industry requirements while supporting safe, reliable and responsible operations. 

Tomlinson earned a Master of Science in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from the University of Texas at Tyler and a bachelor's degree Biology and Health Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credentialed through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and has maintained that designation for over 15 years.
