Amanda Nottingham

Vice President, External Affairs

Amanda Nottingham serves as VP, External Affairs and will oversee community relations, corporate communications and public policy issues that impact SWEPCO’s operations within the evolving electricity industry. She most recently served as Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Bossier City. As CAO, she was responsible for the daily operations of the local government and played a central role in implementing policy, budget oversight, and legislative initiatives. Prior to being appointed as Bossier City’s CAO, she worked as a legislative liaison for the Louisiana House of Representatives, regional director of a statewide non-profit organization, and an elementary school teacher. Throughout her career, she has delivered community-oriented and people-focused results.

Outside of work, Amanda remains active with non-profit organizations and serves on the Board of Directors of United Way of Northwest Louisiana and Louisiana Association of the Blind. She was appointed to the Louisiana Rehabilitation Council by Governor Landry in 2024. Amanda is a native of Shreveport and graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana. She is married to Todd Nottingham and they have two sons who are both students at Louisiana Tech.
