SWEPCO Awarded $200 Million Grant to Boost Reliability, Affordability for Texas Customers

Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) customers will benefit from a $200 million grant from the Texas Energy Fund Outside ERCOT Grant Program, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced today.

A signing ceremony was held in Austin today with leaders from the TEF, PUCT, Office of the Governor and SWEPCO. Participants representing SWEPCO included Drew Seidel, VP Distribution Operations; Peter Kimani, Director, Texas Regulatory Services, Scott Osterholt, VP, AEP Grants & Loans Program; Michael Ruggieri, Director, Texas State Government Affairs; Wesley Hunt, Texas Regulatory Consultant Staff.
