SHREVEPORT, La. (Aug.28, 2026) – As the 2026 KTBS 3/St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway® approaches, community members have an opportunity to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital while exploring ideas that can make homes more comfortable and energy efficient.
This year's Dream Home features a variety of modern energy-saving technologies, including LED lighting, a high-efficiency heat pump HVAC system, a heat pump water heater, smart thermostats, enhanced insulation, an induction cooktop, and electric vehicle charging capabilities. These features work together to improve comfort, increase efficiency, and help manage energy use.
The public can stop by 780 Duckwater Landing in Bossier City's Duckwater Landing subdivision to view the house, valued at $715,000, each weekend through Sept. 20. Open house hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
While one lucky ticket holder will win the Dream Home, many of the technologies showcased in the home are available to customers throughout Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. Homeowners interested in making similar upgrades may qualify for energy-efficiency rebates and incentives on eligible equipment and improvements.
Most importantly, every Dream Home ticket purchased helps support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
