SWEPCO’s President and COO Testifies Before U.S. House Subcommittee

SWEPCO President & Chief Operating Officer Brett Mattison testified before the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy to discuss the utility  industry’s response to Winter Storm Fern. 

During the hearing, Mattison highlighted how SWEPCO crews worked to support customers during the storm, the importance of a diverse and dependable energy mix, and the company’s ongoing investments to strengthen grid resilience and reliability. 

“At SWEPCO, our customers are at the center of everything we do,” Mattison shared. “We’re committed to building a stronger, more reliable system to meet their needs in every season.”
