Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) Foundation partnered with Kilgore College this summer to support Rangers STEM Camp, helping students explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics through interactive, hands-on learning experiences.
As part of its commitment to education and workforce development, the SWEPCO Foundation provided a $5,000 sponsorship to support STEM Week activities and help make the camp experience possible for participating students.
Throughout the week, campers engaged in a variety of activities designed to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving and introduce real-world STEM applications. From building and experimenting to exploring new technologies, students gained valuable experiences in an engaging campus environment while developing skills that can benefit them in future academic and career pursuits.
Supporting programs like Rangers STEM Camp reflects SWEPCO’s ongoing commitment to its Power for Good initiative, which focuses on strengthening communities through education, economic development and meaningful community partnerships.
